National Indigenous Touch Football Knockout 2017

The Quit B Fit team in partnership with Dubbo Regional Council, Touch Football NSW, Touch Football Australia, Black Money Enterprises and Manly Warringah Sea Eagles hosted the first National Indigenous Touch Football Knockout in Dubbo on the weekend of the 11th and 12th November 2017.

The Knockout was a great event with over 20 teams participating for up to $40,000 in prize money for the winners and runners up teams.

The Winner and Runners Up teams are listed below:

Mixed B Grade

  • Lively Connections 3 defeated Thuroona 1
  • Player of the Final: Matthew Hanzel-Fuller (Lively Connections)

Mixed A Grade

  • Koori Kama 7 defeated Amaroo All Stars 6
  • Player of the Final: Katie Shaw

Mens C Grade

  • Euraba 5 defeated Young Guns 3
  • Player of the Final: Caleb Bergen

Mens B Grade

  • Smooth Finish 5 defeated Kamilaroi Dreamerz 4
  • Player of the Final: Murray Stewart

Mens A Grade

  • Castlereagh All Blacks 6 defeated Top Camp Swans 5
  • Player of the Final: Tony Pellow

Next year’s event will be moved to the June Long weekend with more details released shortly.
